It IS, though! It's from when you last posted about your NaNo; you mentioned that you had worked in Balthazar and there was that little thread about how everyone likes him (and I do too!) and how he shows up in preseries stories and AUs, and someone pointed out that it was like the was taking the spot Uriel would have had. And that made me SO SAD because I really like Uriel and hardly anyone ever writes about him.

So that lead to me finishing a Uriel WiP I'd had when I should have been writing other things. Your fault!:)

Although I know where this came from - there was a post on fanficrants about high school AUs and it got me thinking about how dysfunctional the angels would be as a human family and how Cas would just be made of abandonment issues. You've got their dad running out on them so long ago the younger ones barely remember him, the eldest brothers who are supposed to be looking out for the younger kids are either enormous dicks, locked up or have also taken off, and Cas' favorite sister just ran away. Even Winchesters look at that level of family trauma and kind of take a step back.
