His characterisation here is *great*. You've taken the bare-facts version of him the show gave us and, from those bare facts, developed so many subtleties of emotion and motivation and connection, fleshed him out into a really very fascinating--and understandable--person. I especially like the way you characterised him in contrast to Zachariah; Uriel's opinions about Zach are particularly illuminating in the ways they point up how both those characters could've wanted the apocalypse to happen, yet not have been working together at all.
