I love the characterization here. From Cas trying to explin things in terms of his addiction(s), and the fact that ge's so far gone already but still almost hopeful in a way and understanding that Claire needs her daddy so he's willing to pretend for her, and then Claire, who's grown up much too fast - and into a total badass - but there's still that vulnerability there. I also like the fact that she was the one to save Cas, rather than the other way around. So really, excellent character choices all the way around.

... And I think the scene with Cas pretending for her is going to stick in my head for the rest of eternity; just so many awesome things about that happening :)
