Part of the reason I was so bowled over by the reaction to Exit Wounds was because it had already been up on AO3 for almost two weeks and the reaction was kind of, "Oh, that's nice.":) Fluff and smut (and fluffy smut!) generally gets the strongest reactions over there. And longer stuff, probably because it's easy to download.
