This went up a few days after I'd made my way through all of your angst, and I was getting really concerned around part 4. I'm so glad Castiel came back-and that it was consistent with the universe you already had.
That said, I did really love the open ending. "Castiel reappears and everyone lives happily ever after forever!" would have felt too much like a cop-out.
