That was utterly chilling. I loved the narrative; it was tremendously evocative, and the characterisations rang wonderfully true -- in fact, all of the fic did. Your Claude voice is terrific, and the turmoil of his emotions was a pleasure to read -- if, as I said at the start, what provoked that turmoil was quite chilling indeed.
