And of course then there's the stuff where Shawn and Gus are indeed BFF FOREVER but only so Gus can be killed off and Shawn wrecked with sorrow.

Now see, I love h/c but that's just wrong. For a show centered around solving murders, Psych is pretty fluffy. You know going in that none of the mains are going to get shot or have anything really egregious happen to them taht can't be resolved in the space of an episode. I'd love an episode/fic where Shawn thinks</i< something terrible happened to Gus, but it being permanant is not what I signed up for.:)
