Another character I don't actually ship! (Single-gender race combined with apparent asexual reproduction makes me wonder if the Nameks even have a sex drive. I wouldn't be surprised if "sex" involved some kind of spore or pollen, considering how plant-like they are in a lot of ways. I'm convinced they use photosynthesis; it explains the green skin and why they only need to drink water.)
My OTP for them: Piccolo/Gohan(adult Gohan, obviously) Okay, I do kind of ship this.:) Gohan is the only thing Piccolo's ever loved; he died for that kid, he has a mindlink with him (just look at the Android 20 fight) and he just about breaks when he thinks Gohan is killed by Buu. For Gohan's part, Piccolo is probably the most stable influence he's had in his life, especially since he's saddled with Goku, the King of Absentee Dads. There isn't even that much of an age difference, considering that Piccolo is really less then ten years older than Gohan.
It would take a lot of build up, obviously. And Gohan would have to initiate, because I don't know if it would ever even occur to Piccolo otherwise.
2. Runner-up pairing: Piccolo/Nail I guess? I mean, they're technically the same person now, but I suppose it all going on in Piccolo's head would count. This is hard.
3. Honourable mention(s): Piccolo/17 Piccolo really enjoyed driving when he and Goku were forced to get their licenses, something he and 17 have in common. And they're an even fight! They could beat each other up, steal some cars, drive real fast and then repeat the process.
4. Crack pairing(s): Piccolo/Martian Manhunter They're both bald, green, telepathic and enjoy billowing capes. Made for each other, I tells ya.:)
5. Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't: I don't know if everyone likes it, but there was a lot of Piccolo/Random Female Namek running around for a while there. Seriously, people. Knock it off.
