We invite you to dc_dystopia, a Dean/Castiel and Jensen/Misha-centric fanwork challenge community inspired by the likes of j2_everafter and dc_everafter – but with a dark twist. Rather than focusing on true love, happy endings, and fluff, dc_dystopia is all about reveling in dark!fic tropes and endings where things aren't quite so neatly resolved. If it might belong in a nightmare, then it has a place here.

Sign ups are currently ongoing for ROUND TWO, our first themed round. The theme of this round is the REVERSE-BANG FORMAT, where artists submit things first and have stories written based on their work.

I couldn't get in on the first round (the sadness!), but now there's a round two and it's a REVERSEBANG!

I can't do dc_dystopia because I can't take sad endings which almost all of them have, but I hope you have fun with it! :)

I hear you on the sad endings. Some of them have torn my heart out. There have been a few that were good endings, not HEA but perfect for the whole story.

I've been good! I didn't do dark_fest or queer_fest and I didn't even look at summergen! And it's only 5K. (ignoring that the last reversebang went 30K and the super_disney went 18. In theory it's only 5K!)
