So it looks like there might be another round of claiming for dc_dystopia, since as always there were more writers than there was art, and I am reeeaaaaaly fighting the urge to get in on that because it would let me use the 2014!verse bunny I thought I would have to save until the next round. It helps that obviously people who didn't get to claim would go first in round two and the piece I'd want would almost certainly go right away.

As far as the round that actually did happen, I got my first choice and have already started on the story - and by that I mean I have maybe ten words, but that's a start! Technically!

(As evidence for how hyped I was for this, I set my alarm this morning but mistakenly set it for 7:30 PM instead of AM and I STILL jolted awake at 8. I was so relieved my piece was still there by the time I got done flailing around and turned my laptop on.)

I've never been more glad to live by myself than I did this morning. I just woke up, blinked at the clock for a second and literally said out loud, "Why does that say eight?" Because it couldn't be, you see.

Ahahahaha soooooooooooooo glad it worked out! YAY!!!!

And yes, yes... all my shipping/fangirling/high-pitched squealing makes me VERY VERY VERY happy to live alone XD
