I've heard there is something called willpower. Where could I find some?

So I bowed to the inevitable and signed up for [livejournal.com profile] spn_reversebang - I'd decided to wait until the art reveals in an obviously futile attempt to NOT sign up for All The Things, but we can all see how that worked out. I've got my five - well, four, really - so now there's only the wait until claiming. If I actually get my first choice I might need to hire some bodyguards because I can already tell people will be shedding blood over it.

Eh. At least I'll be up at 3AM on a weekend this time, instead of, y'know, a Wednesday.:)

I am trying to break my horrifying writer's block with an awesome new meme! I'm gonna close it at...I don't know, sometime tonight, so jump in while you can!

Also, you all are MEAN. So mean to poor Cas. So much meaner than I am! No one gets to complain next time I write dark!fic, that's all I'm saying.:)

I'm sort of salivating over the one with the Tarot cards, myself.

And you know we only leave you mean-to-Cas prompts because you're so good with them...

I love that two people just outright asked me to kill him in terrible ways.:) And yours! SO MEAN!

The tarot one is very nice. Good luck! Brew a pot of coffee with me!:)

Hey, at least for "Look, Up in the Sky" it's a comic book--no one ever stays dead in comic books. :)

Maybe mine should be: When Dean wakes up, for a second Castiel could swear his eyes are black. I don't know, whichever you want.

And I have, naturally, swiped the meme. ;)

I'm kind of in love with the cards she picked--Cas as Temperance is obvious, since the card has an angel anyway, but Sam as the Hanged Man is pure genius, and Dean as the Four of Cups has some great resonance too.

Oh, I like mean just fine! It just amused me that given the choice of anything to AU everyone's all "Kill him! Destroy that soul! Break his heart into tiny little angel pieces!"

Cas is so pretty when he's having his soul destroyed.

Begging your pardon, dear madam, but it is you who still holds the crown for being mean to Cas. Though you almost always give him happy/semi-happy endings, you have still--

1. Given him nightmares of Lucifer.
2. Made him high on pagan dust.
3. Sent him to Hell.
4. Let the effects of Pestilence's illness linger.
5. Had his wings ripped apart more than once.
6. Had his wings ripped completely off more than once.
7. Had him fatally stabbed more than once.
8. Had him tortured by his brothers more than once.
9. Let him suffer poisoning in a nexus.
10. Let him face his worst nightmares.
11. Had him tortured to death by demons.
12. Had him almost killed by a demon.
13. (drumroll)Had his mind twisted and broken by none other than the love of his life.

Is it a coincidence that last one would be lucky thirteen?

But, alas, you are always mean to Cas with a vital purpose, and that is all any reader can ask for. I, too, requested you to be mean to Cas, but not without purpose. When reading "On the Head of a Pin" for the bajillionth time, I asked myself "would I be screaming in outrage if Dean had been a woman and Cas had violently kissed him like that?" And the answer was--YES!!!

Yeah, grief, sexual frustration, and a craving for comfort do not a good combination make for anyone, but that's no excuse. Cas needs to understand you don't violently take what you want and then ask for it.

Just my two cents.
