I've been hoping someone would do an HT/DC crossover ever since the newer series of Human Target comics revealed that (in that canon, at least) they do exist in the same universe. This was worth the wait.
Guerrero's characterization was perfect, I think. In the course of his good deed you don't lose sight of the fact that he's ultimately morally gray and quite willing to do terrible things if it turns the situation in his favor. I was actually a little surprised that Superman saved him given that Guerrero fired at the mobsters first, but I'm assuming that Dacosta's explanation on the roof cleared all of that up.
Speaking of, Dacosta was a great character. Very well written and easy to visualize. Same goes with everyone else, really.
Also, congrats on making me like Superman. I'm not really a comic person so I don't know much about the characters of the DC 'verse beyond their TV appearances, but Superman always struck me as a bit of a tool and this fic is the first time I've enjoyed his appearance as a superhero and a character.
I really want to see what happened between Guerrero and Batman now. I hope Bats isn't the reason Guerrero ended up in prison...
