This is gorgeous. I absolutely adore the way you wrote Castiel and his grief -- you brought a whole new layer to it with the story about Abdiel. I loved Dean's reactions, too; they were very in keeping with his character while emphasizing his strengths. I don't even know what else to say, but the emotion just seeped out of your words.
