Ugh. Bad two days for word count. On the bright side, I have a four day weekend. \o/ I really want to get over 10K this weekend. At the very least I want to finish up part one so I can send it to my artist at first check in tomorrow. (If anyone else wants also wants a very rough, in-progress sneak peek, just say so. I could use some cheerleading.)

I went to get gas a couple days ago at my favorite place and was chatting with the attendant, nothing too out of the ordinary. At least not until I mentioned I was single and he said he could introduce me to his brother, who was, and I quote, "Looking for a wife." This is a thing that happened.

(As a note, at no point did I feel unsafe nor was it even overly creepy. Just, you know. Baffling.)
