I think this is one of my favorites of yours, so like Cas to do whatever it takes to save Dean, and and the imagery that comes through with your lines. Three of them stand out for me:
He's never known any creature who hated being saved more than Dean Winchester.
He doesn't know what it says about him that he's less afraid of falling than of Dean dying for even one moment.
He doesn't know if this is Dean's heartbeat he's feeling or his own. He's not sure he can even draw that distinction anymore.
If these don't sum up Dean and Cas' relationship, then I don't know what does. Now I want to see what happens when Dean takes Cas back to the motel, hee. Beatiful job, thank you for sharing it with us.
