Hi, when I saw your name, I just knew there would finally be another Dean/Cas story... I was looking forward to it and you certainly didn't disappoint. I love AUs and this one is wonderfully written. You're taking your time, you don't rush through the plot and your characters come across as absolutely authentic. All of them. So I thank you a lot for making my day (first day of my holidays no less with my husband still working, rain outside and for once lots of time on my hands - life can be good...) I guess one day I finally have to watch the first season of Supernatural (I came to watch it at the beginning of season 4 and as I fell in love with Cas right from the beginning, I never went back to watch the first three seasons) to get an idea of John Winchester. In most stories he comes across as a stone-hearted, bitter man who insisted on absolute obedience and let his sons fend for themselves - not really likeable from my point of view. And Dean very rarely seems to stand up to him... I'm glad he, kind of, did in your story. You had me worried for a while there... Thanks!
