I normally don't read character death (or not Cass or Dean, anyway) as for me, that level of depression is not enjoyable, but I was drawn in immediately by the writing as I skimmed the first paragraph of your piece and was glad I stuck with it, in a masochistic way. And although I found it incredibly sad and part of me wished I hadn't read it, your writing made it all worthwhile. I could feel every heart-breaking moment as Dean tried to cope and failed. A beautiful piece.
