Mind lost. Please help.
Jan. 26th, 2007 03:17 pmSo I've had a little too much time on my hands this week, what with the whole "between jobs" thing. Flipping through the channels yesterday, I caught the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on one of the movie channels, and remembered how much I like this movie, and especially how much I like Mos Def's Ford.
At some point, it occurred to me that, obviously, the Doctor and Ford know each other. This led to me imagine Ten on the bridge of the Heart of Gold, which is very close to the best thing ever. So far, so good (also, Ten/Ford, especially Movie!Ford, would be hot like burning).
By this morning I had 46KB of fic written. I don't know how it ends. I'm not great at funny, even less so at absurdity. And writing Zaphod scares me.
But Ford and Ten are adorable. And Arthur's worried that Trillian's going to go running off with the Doctor and his shiny timeship. And the Doctor hates Zaphod.
