I'm kicking out stained glass windows/And I'm tender to the touch

As I've said, Supernatural is one of my watch on DVD shows so I wasn't able to join in the S5 premiere festivities this week. Instead I got busy on catching up on S4 fic and God, I love this one:

Starting From The End of Times by anniehow: After the events of "Lucifer Rising," Castiel is still missing. While Sam and Dean try to rescue Cas from his wrathful kin, Zachariah makes Sam an offer and Dean has had just about enough. Complete, five parts, almost but not quite there yet Dean/Castiel (a pairing I'm fond of when written carefully to avoid certain consent issues, which this fic is.) Dean's voice in this is fantastic; I could hear him say every single line of dialogue.

Last night Derek Jeter broke Lou Gehrig's all time hit record, recording hit number 2722 with a single in the bottom of the third on a 2-0 count.

I love how embarrassed he looks when the team comes out of the dugout and hugs him. The record couldn't have been broken by a more deserving guy.
