What's up with what's going down

After much tribulation I'm finally lounging about at lazy_as_a_cat's family's place watching The Walking Dead. I didn't get to leave as early as I'd have liked, so the attempt to arrive before dark proved futile. And then as soon as I crossed the border into Massachusetts it started to rain. This meant I had to negotiate roundabouts in the dark in the rain. Only if a clown had been out there directing traffic could I have been more unhappy.

But the real fun happened in Connecticut, when I hit some kind of bump and and felt something go *bang*. I pull over, assuming it's my tire, and discover that my right front turn signal had popped completely out and was gone. Presumably it's still somewhere all over I-95 (so if anyone found it, yeah. That was me.)

But then I arrived and had yummy steak and pecan pie and now have zombie goodness.
