Up too late. So sleepy.
May. 2nd, 2011 07:52 pmI was surprised at how blank I felt last night when I heard about Bin Laden's death last night (on twitter, like apparently the rest of the universe.) I still don't know how I feel --- part of the problem is that I've been assuming he's actually been dead for years now so the news that he's actually dead feels strange.
Watching the firefighters celebrating in Times Square last night made me teary. I hope people get closure. It's been a long ten years.

On a more silly and fannish topic, remember how I said I need to be kept away from kink memes for my own protection? Yeah. Right now I have four open office files open, all with fics in various stages of completion.

deancaskink prompts I'm currently working on:
1) Cas gets hurt, Dean finds out and goes BAMF, and uses Cas sword to protect him and gets revenge. Up to writer how Dean is able to use sword(profound bond, mating etc.)
2) Cas falls, and is reborn is a human. 16-18 years later, he manages to track down an older Dean, who thought Castiel died. Dean feels weird around such a young Castiel, but Cas isn't going to let him deny them both their second chance.
3) Clairestiel/Dean, anything based in 5x04. Prefer Clairestiel/2014!Dean.
4) Cas has to travel back in time (for whatever reason you think of) and gets stuck in 1994 maybe because he's running out of mojo. There he runs into a teenage!Dean, and Cas finds himself saving Dean's life.
(I want to point out that three of those are potentially underage, which I generally don't write. Except apparently in this fandom. *throws up hands*)
I'm giving myself two weeks to play with these before buckling down on my everlasting birthday fic, because that thing's going to be a monster.
