Sometimes I take a great notion
Aug. 27th, 2011 12:45 pmIf the news is to be believed Irene has been dowgraded to a Cat 1, but at the same time it's already tearing through North Carolina hours ahead of schedule, so, you know. ~Weather.~ I'm west and north of NYC enough that I don't think we'll see the worst of it here but we'll see. There's no wind or rain yet, but it is cloudy as all hell outside. (If hell gets cloudy. We don't know it doesn't.)

On the bright side, Irene washing out the weekend means I have some good chunks of writing time! (assuming the power holds) Which I need, because aside from the Rarities fic that needs to get done this weekend omg I realized that the story I'm writing for the Birthday challenge isn't at all what the prompt asks for. I mean, I love this to bits but the prompter wants fluff and this is angsty h/c with bonus soul-bonding peppered with occasional fluffiness. *sigh* Writing, why so hard?
Also, to my brain: no more kink meme fills until we finish the deadline!fics. No. Bad.

17 – Titles – Are they the bane of your existence, or the easiest part of the fic? Also, if you do chaptered fic, do you give each chapter a title, or not?
Sometimes titles come so easily and other times it's like banging my head against the keyboard. There's a reason I raid song lyrics as often as I do.
