(which is of course totally different from the pants party.:)

Internets, I have had a day. Not a bad day, really, but just a day of running around going "That thing! Where is that thing?", then finding it and ten minutes later having to go "That other thing! Where is that other thing?" And on top of that it's rainy and blargh and traffic was wretched and I have to do dishes in a bit.

And while I can't watch the premiere tonight I still want to celebrate, so here's what we're doing: prompt me.

Give me a one word (or two or three, whatever) prompt

OR

request a missing scene/coda/timestamp/what-have-you from something I've written

and I'll write you comment fic. See? Party!

(It may not happen immediately, but I promise I will answer every prompt!)

ETA: I am working on everything! *flail!* The party will go all weekend, so anyone who came late feel free to join in!

Dean saw Cas' Adam's apple move as he swallowed, the bottle dangling forgotten from his fingers until Dean caught it and set it safely on the nightstand. "I...." He closed his eyes, his tongue flicking out over his lips. "Is it all right if I kiss you, Dean?"

Dean grinned. "You don't ever have to ask my permission for that, Ca---"

Castiel kissed him he could even finish his sentence, catching him with his mouth open. He felt Cas' tongue slide past his lips and couldn't hold back the moan; he grabbed a handful of Cas' coat and pulled him closer, running his other hand through Cas' hair. He felt Cas' fingertips trace down his cheek, like Castiel was trying to memorize him.

Cas finally pulled back, still shaking but not any harder than Dean. "It's selfish," he whispered, brushing his fingers against Dean's lips.

"What is?"

Dean could smell the whiskey as Cas breathed. "It brings me peace to know you'll be at my side come dawn, despite the danger."

Dean shrugged, rubbing the back of Cas' neck. "Hey, you said he wouldn't kill me."

"He could do many things to you that wouldn't kill you. And yet I want you there anyway." He kissed Dean again, barely brushing his lips. "Can you forgive me that?"

"Dude." This time Dean kissed him, deep and messy until Dean could feel Cas' heart racing. When he broke the kiss Cas tried to follow after him, open mouthed and gasping. "I would be pissed forever if you left me out," he said, cradling Cas' head in both hands. "So don't you even think about it." Castiel nodded and Dean kissed him again, sliding one hand under the coat and suit jacket and brushing his hand down his ribs, just the thin dress shirt between them.

Cas shivered and pressed closer to Dean. "You said this was the first thing I should do," he said, his fingers threading through Dean's hair. "What's the second?"

Dean felt his heart pounding so hard he thought it might come out of his chest. A few minutes earlier he'd had to screw up his courage just to put an arm around Cas' waist; they were crossing so many lines so fast Dean's head was spinning. He ran his tongue over Cas' lower lip and remembered seeing that fear in his eyes. Dean knew their plan was solid, he was damned proud of it in fact, but he'd been around long enough to know plans went bad. If things went bad tomorrow Dean didn't want regrets. He'd wracked up more than enough of those for one lifetime. "Okay, Cas," he whispered, feeling that last wall between them crumble to dust. "You pay close attention."

Castiel nodded, his eyes wide and eager and Dean knew no one had ever looked at him like that before. Suddenly it seemed ridiculous that he would have ever had any doubts about this. He kissed Castiel again, wet and lingering, his hands slowly working open Cas' belt. "This is what you do next."

Eeee, fic for ME! With the drinking and the shaking and the angsting and the kissing! Such a wonderful combination of activities for these two. *g*

I have wanted Dean/Cas fic involving that prompt since I first read that article back in MAY. This makes me very happy. :) Thank you so much for writing it!
