So let's say that - hypothetically speaking - one were writing a scene where someone was delirious and rambling in Enochian. And let's say one had the font for Enochian downloaded to one's OpenOffice. Would anyone know how to format (or whatever the right term is) things so the Enochian characters would display everywhere?
You know. Hypothetically.

I really don't know of any other way to get special fonts to show on the web, unfortunately. :[

Date: 2011-10-17 11:10 pm (UTC)I don't know if individual LJ posts support CSS or if that's something you'd have to include in your theme's code, but you could use dynamic fonts; OR you could embed the Enochian text as an image, but then people wouldn't be able to copy/paste, Control+F it, etc. But since it's Enochian and I doubt anyone would be typing in Enochian, I think maybe that's your best bet?
Here's an About.com article that goes through these options: http://webdesign.about.com/b/2008/07/04/reader-question-how-to-add-special-fonts.htm
