The Gamestop in the mall where I play D&D usually has a good number of dirt-cheap used DVDs, so after game on Saturday I stopped in to browse the 3 for $10 shelf while everyone else was playing magic.
I walked out with the entire Yami no Matsuei DVD series. All four disks! I'd only had the series on crappy VHS fansub, and not even all of it (I was missing the boat arc, which is my favorite just for Tsuzuki's adorable attempts to speak English). And here was the whole thing on DVD for about $12!
I also picked up Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Pride of the Yankees to round out the second 3 for $10, so I felt like I found myself a pretty good deal. Happy day for me, especially since I had been feeling bittersweet about my long-running campain ending that day. We gave it a good ending, but it's always hard to leave a character and a world you've been playing in so long.
In other good news, I passed my typing test today, so I'm one step closer to rejoining the ranks of the employed. Yay, me.
