Aaaaaand, first chapter down, all pieces on the board. I really want to get over 10K this weekend while I have the time, maybe even get the next section done.

(Incidentally, if anyone wants a look at what I have so far, not to beta read or anything but just for strictly self-indulgent cheerleading purposes, that would be kind of awesome.)
