Okay, time for some outside help

misachanI have two fics that have reached the despairing "nitpick them to death" stage, and it's time to take a step back.
Can anyone recommend a good beta? It's been forever since I've been in the fanfic game, and I wanted to ask for help here before throwing myself on the mercy of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)

The first fic is Heroes, around 1600 words, gen, focusing on Bennet right after the flashback shooting in "Company Man".
The second is Doctor Who, set between "The Doctor Dances" and "Boomtown." This one's long, with a 15K wordcount. It's got some Old Who mixed in, so ideally I need someone who's familiar with the older stuff and can tell me where I've gone astray.:)
I'm looking for pacing and characterization help, but I really just need another set of eyes at this point.
