To set the scene for you: the layout of my f-list tends to mean that I read the body of a post before I ever see the username or community of which the post is made from.

The reason you need to know that? Because, this: I read the summary and then a split second after the words 'based on Flight of the Navigator' filtered through my head brain, said head brain went gee... that sounds aweful famil...iar... and then mine eyes zipped up to lo' and behold your name, and then I recalled how damn long I've anticipated this fic from you and...

Well, I don't know how I even typed this because not for a moment have my arms stopped Kermit flailing to allow me to do so. I think the excitement you unleashed in me has caused a chemical reaction in my brain that has given me psychokinetic powers. How awesome are you?

Right. So now that I've got fangirl all over your journal (here, just let me dust that right off *elbow rub* there ya go, good as new) I'm going to go an read this sure-to-be amazing thing that is probably shorter than my blathering all said and done.

*Flail* I loved Flight of the Navigator. I recently re-watched with my two younger kids and... I must go read this now. I love you so much and didn't even realize it until today. ;)
