Old school DW fans, I need your aid!

I know the basics of what happens at the end of War Games, but I need to know some vitally important details.

1) Do they take Jamie's key to the TARDIS before they send him back, or is it possible that he holds onto it?

2) Does Jamie know about the forced regeneration the Time Lords have planned, and what exactly that means?

1. They returned Jamie back to the exact point he left. It was like he never left. So he had no memory of what happened and definitly no key.

2. Nope, Jamie and Zoe didn't know what was going to happen to the Doctor. They knew the Doctor would get in trouble, but he didn't know anything about regeneration or the Time Lord's plan to force the Doctor to regenerate.

Yeah, I figured it would be a no on the second question (like Jamie would let that stand!), but I was hoping they'd forget to take the key when they mind wiped him. Jerks.:)
