I love that Faith never hesitates. It may not be the right decision (and in fact, it usually isn't) but there's no equivocation and if things don't go her way she doesn't whine about it. She does what needs doing, whether anyone agrees with her or not.

I love that she introduces gray into the BtVS universe. The Mayor is much more decent to her than any of the good guys, despite being a crazy cultist, and she's very frank that Slayers are killers. And I love that she tries so hard. After the mayor and the coma and prison it would be so easy to give up, but she broke out of jail no questions asked when Angel needed her and she's still fighting the good fight in the comic series. The girl is loyal to people she cares about.

I love how she flirts with Buffy.:)

And I really love the way she talks, the five by five and all that. It gives her a unique voice in a canon where everyone talks in slang.

I love that she can put Lassiter (and Shawn) in his place with just a look. I love that she refuses to be pushed around when it came to being "Interim" Chief and was willing to leave a job she loved because she knew she deserved to be treated better. I love that not only is she a woman kicking ass in what's usually a man's job, but for a good part of the series she does it pregnant. I love that while she clearly doesn't really buy that Shawn's a psychic for reals, as long as he gets results he can flail his arms around as much as he likes. And I love her exasperated sighs whenever Shawn or Juliet or Lassiter do something crazy.:)
