I just read a (pretty nifty) Watchmen fic where things go bad on a job for Dan and Rorschach when they raid a warehouse expecting to fight ten goons and wind up fighting thirty. Problem is, just before reading that fic I had been writing a fic where things go bad for Dan and Rorschach because they raid a warehouse expecting to fight ten goons and wind up having to run from thirty.:)

Now my fic is different otherwise --- Rorschach gets hurt in that one, for one thing, while Dan gets hurt in mine --- but now I feel compelled to change that detail. It was just such a strange coincidence.:)

Clearly this is a sign I should have been working on my apocafic.
