Ugh. Bad two days for word count. On the bright side, I have a four day weekend. \o/ I really want to get over 10K this weekend. At the very least I want to finish up part one so I can send it to my artist at first check in tomorrow. (If anyone else wants also wants a very rough, in-progress sneak peek, just say so. I could use some cheerleading.)

I went to get gas a couple days ago at my favorite place and was chatting with the attendant, nothing too out of the ordinary. At least not until I mentioned I was single and he said he could introduce me to his brother, who was, and I quote, "Looking for a wife." This is a thing that happened.

(As a note, at no point did I feel unsafe nor was it even overly creepy. Just, you know. Baffling.)

Oh Lord, I thought I'd emailed my

spn_reversebang artist days ago but it's been sitting in my drafts folder this whole time. Technology, how does it work?

I'm actually good with fandom at the moment (not watching episodes live does wonders for avoiding the inevitable wankstorms), but at the same time I love spreading the squee:

Reversebang word count:

So, I've started work on my

spn_reversebang fic! Rough draft is due Nov 1st, so I'm going to really have to buckle down and write every day to get this bad boy done. I'm aiming to write at least 750 words a day; that's where that final word count on that meter comes from. I have no idea right now how long this is going to wind up being - it might wind up being shorter. Hopefully it won't be longer, God help me.

Dean is very unhappy already. On the bright side, Cas is about to show up, which will make me happy if nothing else.

But I made my count for today, so I'm free to bang out another Prompt Party fic tonight. *confetti* And of course the Doctor Who finale is tonight, too!
