There's a new Trigun movie in the works. It's being produced by Yasuhiro Nightow, who wrote the manga, and Satoshi Nishimura, who directed the anime, and according to the article will feature Wolfwood, which is pretty much all I need to hear.

Not shiny enough? How about a new Slayers series? No details on this yet, but still! Slayers!
